Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 cans (400g) chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained

Instructions

  1. Sauté the Onion & Garlic – Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Brown the Beef – Add ground beef and cook until browned, draining excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add Spices & Tomatoes – Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree.
  4. Simmer – Reduce heat and let it simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour for deep flavor.
  5. Add Peppers & Beans – Stir in red bell pepper and kidney beans. Cook for another 5-10 minutes.
  6. Serve – Enjoy with rice, baked potatoes, or pasta.
