Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 cans (400g) chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained
Instructions
- Sauté the Onion & Garlic – Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Brown the Beef – Add ground beef and cook until browned, draining excess fat if necessary.
- Add Spices & Tomatoes – Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree.
- Simmer – Reduce heat and let it simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour for deep flavor.
- Add Peppers & Beans – Stir in red bell pepper and kidney beans. Cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Serve – Enjoy with rice, baked potatoes, or pasta.
